Here's Santa

I know that I whetted your appetites with the picture of the Santa Stamp and I have finally been able to make a card with it. So here he is in all his glory. I notice that he has a sackful of presents to hand out to everyone.

The Santa stamp is here!

Not too much giggling please. This is supposed to be serious!!

Mrs. Santa

Not your conventional Christmas card I know but what fun. These stamps only arrived this morning and I had to make a sample straight away. Mr. Santa is on his way.

This card is super easy to make, All you do is stamp and colour the Mrs. Santa stamp. I used an oval shape but you could use an oblong one.
Cut a pice of holly glitter card and stick it to one side of the base card. Stick the image on top and add some blooms that have been enhanced with buttons and ribbon.
Use a pen to add dots at the corners and a metalic pen to edge the image card.

Sometimes you've just got to have fun.

Christmas Notebook Holder

This is today's make. As you can see it's a Christmas piece again but I've chosen to use traditional Christmas colours rather than modern ones. This is just to prove to myself that I can do it.

This is actually a notbook holder rather than a card and I will take more photos and put instructions on as soon as I have the time.

Hope that you like it too.

Christmas Carol Singer

Well I decided that as it's November I had better get on with some more Christmas cards and here's the one that I made yesterday.
Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com

I used:

The carol singer stamp from the Variety sheet from I Brake For Stamps

I piece of Night Sky Glitter Card

I base card 10.5 cm x 15cm when folded

1 piece of navy blue saddle stitch ribbon

1 tag

Oval shape

3d foam pads

What I did:

I cut a piece of the night time glitter card to cover the top half of the card while still leaving a small border around the top. Stick to the base card.

Stamp the image onto the oval card and colour with shades of blue, yellow and a little red and brown.

Tie a knot in the ribbon and adhere it over the join between the glitter card and the base card.

Write a nessage on the tag and stick it to the card along with the image.

Now that's a fairly quick card.

Posted by PicasaAre you all getting ready for Christmas?
If you are then here’s a rather different card for you to make this month. It’s a funny one for a change.

You will need:
1 base card 140mm x 140mm, I used white linen card.
1 piece of white card
1 piece of red card
1 piece of doodlebugs jolly holly paper
1 length of 9mm red saddle stitch ribbon
1 sentiment and the package lady stamp from the 'Censorship' sheet of unmounted rubber stamps.
Stazon in Stone Gray
A selection of pens to colour the image.
H2O waterbrush from Kuretake.
paper glue
3d foam pads.

To make the card
Stamp the image onto a piece of white linen card. Colour it in and trim the card to leave a fairly generous border around the image. Stick the image card to the red card and trim to leave a thin border.
Stamp the sentiment onto another piece of white card and mount onto red card and trim to leave a similar size border.
Cut a piece of jolly holly paper to cover about a 1/3rd of the card and stick to the base card.
Tie a knot in the ribbon and use it to cover the join.
Stick the images to the card with 3d foam pads.
